Inventory Management
Mercury provides comprehensive tracking and traceability for individual stock units, whether they are pallets, bins, cartons, or other inventory items. This optional module seamlessly integrates with Mercury’s Order and Shipment Management functionality, providing an additional level of visibility and control over your inventory.
While the Order and Shipment modules can operate effectively without tracking individual stock units, their capabilities are significantly enhanced when combined with Mercury’s Inventory Management module. By recording the movement and location of individual stock units, Mercury gives you a precise, real-time view of where your inventory has originated, where it is currently located, and where it is destined to go.
This detailed level of inventory visibility enables more effective order fulfilment by helping you identify the most appropriate stock and shipment locations for each customer order. Comprehensive reporting provides insight into stock movements and availability, while full traceability allows you to track exactly which stock was received, moved, allocated, and ultimately delivered.
The result is greater inventory accuracy, improved operational efficiency, and complete confidence in the history and current status of your stock throughout its lifecycle.
